Alexey has worked on several translations for scripts and subtitles from German into English. Here are some highlights.

"Pfau" / "Peacock" - 2024 - Written and Directed by Bernhard Wenger

Working closely once again with Austrian director Bernhard Wenger, the translated screenplay was selected for the Cinéfondation Residence of the 73rd Festival de Cannes 2020. This very original and nuanced film went on to star Albrecht Schuch and premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2024.

"7500" - 2019 - Written and Directed by Patrick Vollrath

Alexey translated Oscar-nominated German director Patrick Vollrath's feature film "7500". The terrorism action/thriller went on to star Joseph Gordon-Levitt and premiered at the Locarno Film Festival.
